Mobile Medical Units (MMUs)
Advanced Healthcare on Wheels
The Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) is the backbone of our field operations — a cutting-edge clinic on wheels that delivers quality primary healthcare right to the heart of rural communities. More than just an ambulance, each MMU functions as a fully equipped diagnostic and consultation center, ensuring essential medical services reach those who need them most.

Key Features & Capabilities
Onboard Staff
Each unit is staffed by a dedicated team of a General Practitioner (GP), a Lab Technician, a Nurse, and support staff to manage patient flow and community outreach.
Advanced Diagnostics
Our MMUs are equipped with essential diagnostic tools including CBC analyzers, ECG machines, Eye test, Dental, and testing for Blood Sugar and HbA1c.
Operational Reach
A single MMU is scheduled to visit two villages per day, serving approximately 50 patients per location. This allows us to reach around 50 villages and 3,000 patients every month per unit.
Digital Connectivity
Kavach operates on a fully digital system — every patient is provided with a Kavach Health Passport, which securely stores and tracks all their medical records. Aadhaar is used only for registration and identification purposes, ensuring quick access while maintaining data privacy and efficiency in healthcare delivery.
